2-3 days Survival Trek in Doi Innthanon National Park Area

Are you tough enough to go on our Survival Trek? Interested in nature, agriculture or jungle survival techniques?

Go deep into the Thailand jungle and learn how to survive! Trek, cook, explore and enjoy seeing nature at it's most alive and exciting.

Our jungle guides will help you learn about living in the wild. They will help you to pick wild herbs, wild mushrooms and vegetables for cooking in the fire.

The fire itself is made from a bed of leaves. The food and herbs are laid down on top of the leaves and then surrounded and covered by other leaves to create an oven. The moisture from the leaves and the water inside the vegetables steam cooks the food, the herbs infuse the food with exotic aromas, and the nature's oven seals the heat inside. Thai sticky rice is also prepared and cooked inside bamboo on their own fire.

Make shift accommodation is also build locally for an overnight stay.

This trek only operates between October-June, during the dry season.

Special thanks to Bruna and Manu for donating the photos from their recent trek with us (seen on the left).

Then we stop for lunch in the jungle. We learn jungle cooking and jungle survival skills (how to survive on wild rice cooked in bamboo).

For the 2-day adventurers, we trek through the jungle until 4pm, and then meet the car for the journey back to Chiang Mai. Arrival approx. 6:00 pm.

For the 3-day adventurers, we continue through the forest, picking up wild growing vegetables. We will be cooking them all over a roaring fire tonight. We seek a second waterfall on our journey and set camp at a new campsite for our overnight stay.

Day 3

9:00 am: After breakfast, we hike through forest and jungle, getting amongst nature to a deeper level. The additional day allows us to explore the jungle in more detail, provide greater insight and a deeper experience. Again, we eat lunch whilst in the jungle.
